For the first time ever, Newark's network of mentoring programs came together for the MENTOR Newark Awards. To be able to host an event in recognition of various strides and accomplishments is a testament to the progress that's been made in just the past few years. From the creation of mentoring programs in schools to their implementation and upkeep, everyone in the room had a role in the community's 2022-2023 success. We cherish the energy in the room that night. It was one of celebration, pride, and fiery motivation.
