A way Forward during the COVID-19 Pandemic

"Historically, pandemics have forced humans to break with the past and imagine their world anew. This one is no different. It is a portal, a gateway between one world and the next.

We can choose to walk through it, dragging the carcasses of our prejudice and hatred, our avarice, our data banks and dead ideas, our dead rivers and smoky skies behind us. Or we can walk through lightly, with little luggage, ready to imagine another world. And ready to fight for it. "

MENTOR Newark mentees launch project with Director X

“Professionally Known As (PKA) Director X is one of the most iconic music video directors of our time, known for his work with Drake, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, and Kanye West, among many others. He’s also a filmmaker, an artist, and now a mindfulness advocate, drawing on his own experience with gun violence to head up a movement called Operation Prefrontal Cortex.” We were lucky enough to have @jay_pesso and @mo_mon33y gain valuable insight from @directorx on finding success through passion, bettering the world, and much more. Mentoring happens in all forms in the MENTORVERSE. Check out this interview
